Takahiro Takara's Toyota Corolla Levin GT-APEX (AE86) "The 4A-GZE Levin"

The 4A-GZE Levin.. FINALLY. I originally wanted to start this car and make it all the way back in august last year, but kept getting busy.. but with everything that bogged me down out of the way at last, the 4agze levin is here.. I hope to eventually update this with a proper supercharged sound and an actual 4agze engine model.

"Takahiro Takara's Toyota Corolla Levin AE86 model, of GT-APEX trim. The car was passed down to him from his father, Okabe Takara, who was an original owner. It is an April 1983 1st generation "Zenki" sporting a 4A-GZE bigport which was rebuilt in 2017. Its engine is equipped with an SC14 supercharger, APEXi power intake, TOMEI 264/9.0mm cams, HKS valve spring kit, and runs on Castrol GTX Ultraclean 10W40 oil, with exhaust discharged via an HKS Silent HiPower, and an HKS Fcon-V Pro computer. Its suspension is equipped with Kei Office 9kg front 7.5kg rear springs and Tokico HTS-102R shock absorbers, with TRD sway bars. The transmission is powered with an MFactory 4.89 Final Gear, Cusco Cross Mission gears, EXEDY stage 2 ceramic racing clutch, and a 2-way Cusco Type-RS LSD. Stopping power is supplied via ENDLESS brake calipers and pads, with FastBrakes drilled rotors. It rides on 14" RegaMaster Super Forged wheels, painted in flakey gold, on ADVAN AD08 tyres. The interior is fitted with a 375mm Toyota Team TOM'S steering wheel connected to an NRG quick release module, TOM'S Gundam seats, TRD shift knob, and a Cusco rollcage repainted in red. Notable accessories include an ALPINE IDA X-311 stereo, KARO checkerboard floormats, DIY dash cover, drilled pedal pads, and a TRD golfball keychain. The car was restored in 2009 by Carland, signed by Keiichi Tsuchiya in 2023 at the World Time Attack Challenge, and regularly competes in Hot Version events, and competed in BEST MOTORing before its closure in 2011. Takahiro has no plans to part with the car anytime soon, as he aims to become an icon among the names of Keiichi Tsuchiya, Akira Iida, and Manabu Orido. It is worth over 40000$ today."
